Chief Operating Officer
Elizabeth is responsible for Clintrax’s global operations including customer program development, process design and timely performance of global deliverables.
Prior to Clintrax, Elizabeth worked at a large, international CRO as the Global Project Manager of the Functional Service Project for investigator contracts where she led a team of over 40 Contracts Associates and Contract Managers to execute over 8,000 contracts in a two year period. Prior to her experience as a Project Manager, she joined the functional service team as the Contracts Manager for the Americas.
Elizabeth graduated from the Charleston School of Law, cum laude, with a Juris Doctor before moving to Raleigh with her family. In addition, Elizabeth earned her BA in History from Washington and Lee University.
General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Steven is responsible for setting the team’s legal negotiation strategy and counseling Clintrax on global legal issues. Steven is a seasoned corporate attorney with over 15 years of achievement in legal and financial negotiation. His experience includes working inside both large pharma and CROs, globally implementing new legal and business engagements through effective, timeline sensitive negotiation while limiting the exposure to constantly changing regulatory and financial risks
Prior to Clintrax, Steven worked at a large, global pharma where he directed contracting and financial processes for $100+ million in outsourced, time-sensitive Phase I/II and large-scale Phase III studies from initiation to closure. Steven graduated from the George Washington University Law School with his Juris Doctorate. In addition, Steven earned his BS in Political Science from James Madison University.
Vice President of Grants Management
Russell is responsible for leading the Grants Management Department which includes the Global Investigator Payments division as well as the Budget Development division. He brings over 9 years of research experience at the University, Investigator Site and CRO levels to Clintrax.
Prior to Clintrax, Russell worked at a large international CRO where he led a team responsible for global proposal and budget development for a large volume of Phase I-IV clinical trials across a multitude of therapeutic indications. He collaborated with multi-functional global teams and Sponsors to execute projects from the bid stage through trial start-up, as well as providing on-going analysis of negotiated contracts vs. bid projections throughout the payments process to ensure projects were within scope.
Prior to this, Russell was responsible for establishing a start-up clinical research partnership with a cardiology practice, successfully training medical staff on ICH-GCP compliance, securing and negotiating new trials, and recruiting patients for enrollment. He has also worked for a prominent CRO as an in-house monitor and as a graduate research and teaching assistant at Youngstown State University while completing Master’s coursework in Biology. In addition, Russell earned his BS in Life Science Education from Youngstown State.
